As I jumped out of bed this morning, I immediately noticed a bit of nippiness in the air. I dressed quickly then grabbed a cup of steaming roasted dandelion root ‘coffee’ to warm my insides. While I sipped the hot beverage, I gazed out the window at the leaves just beginning to fall from our trees. The trees in our yard are just beginning to turn colors and lose their leaves. Some of the maple trees down the road are already ablaze in vivid reds, oranges and yellows. Fall is unmistakably here. Woohoo! Fall is my favorite season. I love the way it assaults my senses! As I look around and see all the rich colors, I can smell the smoke of camp fires lingering in the air. The crisp breeze tosses my hair around and I hear the harmonious laughter of children as they grab the last few chances to play comfortably outside. Oh, and who can go without a bit of indulgence of the taste of apple and pumpkin that come with fall?
